Our History

Acme Moving is owned and operated by Paul and Sue Genter. We started moving furniture in Michigan in 1977 while going to college in Detroit, where I was an all-American in track and field. Several years later I decided to get into the moving business rather than become a teacher. I moved to Southern California in 1986 to peruse my dreams. I had an old friend living in Oceanside who was a marine who helped me get my business started. I married my wife Sue in 1995 and we have been partners in Acme Moving for 15 years. I moved my first piano in 1977 and have moved 10,000 since.

Based in Vista for over 20 years, Acme moving has worked hard to keep a good reputation by being fast and reliable.
